General Info About Beerwah

These days it is divided into two halves, east and west of the rail line. There used to be a level crossing right in the middle of town but it was considered dangerous so was changed to an overpass a bit further away from the main shops.

It is easy enough to get between the two halves but it is a bit confusing to visitors and a bit of a sore point with some locals with a lack of signage for those who don't already know.

Steve Irwin Way is how you will probably get here and all the other towns in the area. There are 2 main roads Kilcoy-Beerwah Road and Simpson Street and the intersection of these two is pretty much the centre of town.

You will find a good choice of places to eat and get supplies here as well a find a large range of specialty shops for everything from hardware and building supplies, mowers and small engines, landscaping and paint as well as many services like mechanics, tyre shops, fuel supplies, rural supplies, banking, hair cutting and many others.
